Internships

Community Action Opportunities is commited to student field education. Our professional staff supervises students who have completed their academic requirements and guides them to their next level of competency by encouraging their development of skills and knowledge on the job.

Upon completion of the internships, the community benefits by these knowledgeable people who have participated in our decision making processes, helped us plan strategic delivery of services and have identified their own values that strengthen our community as a whole.

Intern opportunities include working with:

• Head Start Family Service Workers
• Life Works Coaches
• Carpentry Assistants

Interns are also welcome to work in other positions in the agency where their skills and interests match our needs.
